5.2.3
Filling and Cleaning the Water Circuit
The
FLUSH
button allows a cleaning cycle to be run on the irrigation circuit and has two operating
modes: Short and Long.
• Short
FLUSH
: the SHORT FLUSH cycle
allows to get the irrigation at the tip
before starting the treatment;
• Long
FLUSH
: The LONG FLUSH cycle
allows a cleaning cycle to be run on
the irrigation circuit at the end of the
treatment and before proceeding with
the cleaning and sterilisation of the parts
used.
5.2.3.1
FLUSH - Short Mode
1. Press the button
FLUSH
once to start
the short mode.
The water flow rate control will
illuminate and the
Flush
button will
flash.
2. Press and release the pedal to start the
procedure.
The system will activate the water pump
with flow rate 6 for 10 seconds.
The numbers on the water scale
will progressively turn off (from 6
to 0) indicating the progress of the
procedure.
The
FLUSH
button will remain lit for the
whole duration of the procedure (10
seconds).

FLUSH - Long Mode
1. Press the button
FLUSH
twice to start
the long mode.
The water and power flow rate control
will illuminate.
The button
FLUSH
will flash.
2. Press and release the pedal to start the
procedure.
The system will activate the water pump
with flow rate 6 for 20 seconds.
The numbers on the water scale
and those on the power scale will
progressively turn off indicating the
progress of the procedure: first the
numbers from 6 to 0 on the water scale,
and then values from prosthetics to 0
on the power scale.
The
FLUSH
button will remain lit for the
whole duration of the procedure (20
seconds).
5.2.3.3 FLUSH - Interruption
The cycle can be interrupted as soon as the liquid exits from the handpiece and with the
following modes:
1. Press the button
FLUSH
again or,
alternatively, press the pedal again or
wait until the end of the timer.
The procedure will be interrupted, the
keyboard will be active again and will
show the last configuration used.
