INSTALLATION
4.1
First Installation
The appliance must be installed in a suitable
place
allowing its comfortable use.
WARNING:
The place where the device is
installed must meet the requirements found
MICROPIEZO can be purchased ready for use
or may need to be enabled by typing in an
activation key.
In case your appliance requires an activation
key, the procedures to be followed may vary
from country to country.
Always refer to your dealer for details.
4.2
Safety Requirements in the Installation Phase
WARNING:
Contraindications.
Interference with other equipment.
Even if compliant with standard IEC 60601-
1-2, MICROPIEZO may interfere with other
devices in the vicinity. MICROPIEZO must
not be used near or stacked with other
appliances. However, if needed, it is necessary
to check and monitor the correct operation
of the apparatus in that condition.
WARNING:
Contraindications.
Interference from other equipment.
An electrosurgical scalpel or other
electrosurgical units positioned near the
MICROPIEZO appliance may interfere with
the correct operation of the appliance itself.
CAUTION:
The electrical system of the
premises in which the appliance is installed
and used must comply with the rules in force
and the relevant requirements of electrical
safety.
CAUTION:
Place the appliance in such a
way that the power plug is easily accessible
insofar as considered a disconnection device.
WARNING:
Risk of explosion.
The appliance cannot operate in
environments where there are saturated
atmospheres of flammable gases (aesthetic
mixtures, oxygen, etc.).
WARNING:
Install the appliance in a safe
place protected from impact or accidental
water or liquid spray.
WARNING:
Do not install the appliance
above or near sources of heat. Arrange
during installation for a suitable circulation of
air around the appliance.
CAUTION:
Do not expose the appliance
to direct sunlight or sources of UV light.
CAUTION:
The appliance can be
transported but must be handled with
care when moved. Place the pedal on the
ground in such a way as to be activated only
intentionally by the operator.
CAUTION:
Before connecting the
handpiece to its cord, check that the electrical
contacts are perfectly dry, on both parts. If
necessary dry them with compressed air.
CAUTION:
The tank can hold liquids up
to a maximum of 500 ml.
