PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIR

The tool bag, B , is located under the seat; to access the bag,
remove the seat.
The service information included in this handbook and the tools
provided in the tool kit are intended to assist you in the perform-
ance of preventive maintenance and minor repairs. The tools
provided are sufficient for performing routine maintenance. How-
ever, additional tools, such as a torque wrench, may be neces-
sary to perform certain repair work correctly.
If you do not have the tools or experience required for a
particular job, have an Authorised MALAGUTI Service
Centre perform it for you.
OWNER’S TOOL BAG
Modifications not approved by MALAGUTI may cause
loss of performance and render the vehicle unsafe for
use. Consult an Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre
before attempting any changes.
Regular checks, maintenance, adjustment and lubrication will
keep your vehicle in the safest and most efficient condition pos-
sible. Safety is an obligation of the owner. The maintenance and
lubrication table must be considered as a guide to general main-
tenance and lubricating frequency.
HOWEVER, DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER, TERRAIN, GEO-
GRAPHICAL LOCATION AND INDIVIDUAL USE, THE MAINTE-
NANCE INTERVALS MAY NEED TO BE SHORTENED.
The following pages provide the most important information con-
cerning checks, maintenance, adjustment and lubrication.
If you are not familiar with vehicle maintenance work,
have an Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre do it for
you.
