Belt is probably damaged or broken
Check and replace damaged belt
Belt is snapping,
shredding, burning or
worn in a specific place
Accessory was engaged when
clogged
Make sure the blades are not clogged
before engaging.
Lack of tension on the belt
Adjust the tensioner spring or replace
spring if stretched.
Belt shows premature
wear
Not the original belts
Always use the original belts
Worn belt, Belt may be worn causing
a slack.
Inspect the belt. Replace if required.
Imperfections in the pulleys
Verify if the pulleys are damaged.
Verify that the pulleys are smooth without
rust spots. Sand down the pulleys or
Interference
Make sure that the belt does not come
into contact with any other part, bolts,
guides etc… when engaged.
Accessory digs into
ground.
Ground is too soft.
Do not cut in wet conditions. Allow wet
grass to dry.
The engine does not start
The emergency button is pushed
down.
The emergency button must be pulled up
to start the engine of the accessory.
Low voltage.
Turn key switch to the “OFF” position,
check battery and all other electrical
connections and inspect spark plug and
wire.
The electromagnetic clutch is
activated
Deactivate the electromagnetic clutch.
