[1] Greasing machine units
IMPORTANT
• The grease type used varies depending on
the greasing point. Failure to grease
properly may reduce the machine's service
life. Follow the information indicated in the
column "Type of grease" in the following
table:
• When the hook block is loosened from the
normal stowage position, the hook block
may sway, interfering with and damaging
surrounding equipment. Pay due attention
to the vicinity of the hook block.
• Use the grease specified below according to
the greasing points.

Use a grease gun to inject grease via the
corresponding grease plugs indicated by
arrows (see the following page) for No. 1 to 6
in the table above.

Thoroughly wipe away any old grease
exuded after greasing.
3.
Operate the left-hand control lever to the
"Extend" side (push forward) to extend the
boom for greasing both sides and underside
of the boom and wire rope.
Use a brush or a roller to apply the boom
grease.
4.
Apply red rope grease to prevent wire rope
wear and corrosion.
After cleaning the rope surface, grease the
rope with a brush.
