Crawler Crane

5/2020 CC1908S-1
[8] Horn operation inspection
1.
Turn the starter switch to the "ON" position.
2.
Press the horn switch to check that the horn
sounds immediately.
[9] Operator's seat adjustment
WARNING
• Adjust the seat before starting operation or
when changing operators.
• Adjust the seat with your back pushed
against the seat back of the operator's seat
so that you can sufficiently operate the
control levers, switches, and accelerator
pedal.
• Be sure to stop the engine before adjusting
the operator's seat.
[Seat forward and backward adjustment]
Pull the lever (1) upward, adjust the seat to the
desired position, and release your hand from the
lever (1).
[Seat reclining adjustment]
Pull the lever (2) upward, adjust the seat back to a
position allowing easy operation, and release your
hand from the lever (2).
The degree of seat recline is larger when the
seat is moved forward and smaller when the
seat is moved back.
Return the seat back to the original position
when moving the seat backward.
Push your back into the seat back when
adjusting. Otherwise, the seat back may
suddenly flip back.
[Seat armrest angle adjustment]
The armrest (3) can be raised up to an angle of
approximately 90 degrees by hand. You can make
fine adjustments to the armrest (3) angle vertically
by turning the dial (4) on the lower part of the arm
rest (3).
[Entire seat forward and backward
adjustment]
Pull the lever (5) upward, adjust the seat to the
desired position and release your hand from the
lever (5).
The seat slides together with the left- and
right-hand control levers and lock lever.
[10] Irregular winding check mirror
adjustment
CAUTION
Be sure to adjust the mirror before operation.
If the mirror is poorly adjusted, irregular
winding caused by the winch drum cannot be
checked. This will not only damage the wire
rope but also shake the hoisted load at the
time of lowering, possibly leading to
instability and serious personal injury.
Adjust the mirror (1) mounting so that the operator
has a clear view of the winch drum.
• If the mirror is stiff when adjusting, loosen the
mirror bolts to adjust.
