Installing the Conditioner
The HC10 conditioner is connected to the header mechanically and hydraulically.
There are two methods for installing the conditioner. Refer to the following sections for instructions:

Installing Conditioner

Lifting Method
If Installing the HC10 with a chain and a suitable lifting device, ensure you read and understand the lifting vehicle and chain
requirements before proceeding.
CAUTION
Equipment used for unloading must meet or exceed the requirements specified below. Using inadequate equipment
may result in vehicle tipping or machine damage.

IMPORTANT:
Forklifts are normally rated for a load located 610 mm (24 in.) ahead of back end of the forks. To obtain the forklift
capacity at 1220 mm (48 in.), check with your forklift distributor.

To install the conditioner using the lifting method, follow these steps:

1.
Attach a chain to lifting brackets (A) on the conditioner and
secure chain to lifting device (B).
2.
Lift the conditioner to upright position.
3.
Remove the shipping blocks if present.
4.
Position the conditioner into the header opening from
the rear.
5.
At 1220 mm (48 in.) from back end of forks.
