Ensure idler roller (A) is between draper guides (B).

IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
adjust nut (C). This nut is used for draper
alignment only.
8.
Turn adjuster bolt (A) counterclockwise to loosen the
draper. White indicator bar (B) will move outboard in the
direction of arrow (D) to indicate that the draper is
loosening. Loosen the draper until the white indicator bar is
at the halfway point in the window.
9.
Turn adjuster bolt (A) clockwise to tighten the draper.
White indicator bar (B) will move inboard in the direction of
arrow (E) to indicate that the draper is tightening. Tighten
the draper until the white indicator bar is at the halfway
point, on the right side of the window.
IMPORTANT:
•
To avoid premature failure of the draper, draper rollers,
and/or tightener components, do
NOT
operate with the
tension set so the white bar is not visible.
•
To prevent scooping dirt, ensure the draper is tight
enough that it does not sag below the point where the
cutterbar contacts the ground.

Removing Split Drapers
Replace the drapers if they are torn, cracked, or missing slats.

To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop the engine and
remove the key before leaving the operator

s seat, and always engage the safety props before going under the
machine for any reason.

Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.
