For timed double-knife headers:
NOTE:
The procedure is the same for both ends of a timed
double-knife header. Images shown are for the left
end—the right end is opposite.
1. Shut down the windrower, and remove the key from
the ignition.
2. Open the endshield. Refer to
3. Loosen the two nuts (A) enough to allow the idler
pulleys (B) to pivot.

4. Loosen the jam nut (C).

ange nut (A) counterclockwise on adjuster
bolt (B) to relieve knife drive belt tension.

9. Loosen the two bolts (A) securing the motor assembly
to the header endsheet.
10. Loosen the belt tension by turning the tensioning
bolt (B) counterclockwise.
