Handset not registered to the base.
9.4 Base or Handset does not ring

Check that the ringer volume has not been set too low or Off.
9.5 Keypad does not seem to work
•
Check that the keypad lock is not on.
•
Try removing the batteries and putting them back again.
9.6 Incoming caller’s number is not displayed even though
you have Caller Display
• Caller has to allow their number to be sent. It has been withheld
or is unavailable.
10. GENERAL INFORMATION
10.1 Safety
• Only use the power supply suitable for the ML0656 range.
• Using an unauthorised power supply will invalidate your
guarantee and may damage the telephone.

For the handset, use only AAA NiMH batteries with a minimum
capacity of 550mAh.
•
Never use other batteries or conventional alkaline batteries as
this could lead to a short circuit or destroy the battery casing.
•
Do not open the handset (except to replace the handset
batteries).
•
This could expose you to high voltages or other risks.
• Radio signal transmitted between the handset and base may
cause interference to hearing aids.
•
It is recommended that advice from a qualified expert be sought
