Main Run
Purpose
The purpose of the Main Run screen is to provide you with real time and historical information for the
product that you are currently inspecting.
This enables you to monitor exactly what is happening at any time and if necessary take some
appropriate action. For example, you may have a local rule that states that if 10 products in a batch
are consecutively rejected then inspection is stopped to allow for an investigation to determine the
cause.
As well as providing visual inspection information, you can also navigate to other screens that,
depending on your access level, allow you to change inspection parameters.
Navigating to a screen that allows you to edit some parameters or carry out actions that will
affect product inspection, such as instigating a new product Learn session, will cause the
system to STOP inspecting until the action is completed.
Screen Contents
The Main Run screen contains the following contents for displaying information and providing
navigation to other screens:
Each product, initially entered and edited through the Select Product to
Setup screen, is given a unique number so that the system can store
its setup and configuration settings. This unique number and the name
of the currently selected product is displayed at the top of the screen.
Tapping on the product name will display the Select Product to Setup
screen so that you can select another product to inspect, edit a
products settings, add or delete a product.
Aalternatively, if you only have Operator (level 1) user access then the
Select Product to Run screen will be displayed which only provides the
option for you to choose a different product to inspect. You cannot edit
product settings or add new products.
If the 'Traceability code' option has been selected in the Batch Control
screen, the batch code entered in the field provided is displayed under
the product name at the top of the screen.
You can enter a new batch code by selecting this field. Also, as the
'Traceability code' option has been selected, when a new batch is
started, you are automatically prompted to enter a new trace code.
