It is normal for some
keys to take 3 or more
attempts to learn. If the
key you are programming
does not learn the
command from your
other handset after 8
attempts, see Resolving
learning problems
opposite.
To learn a key
●
Press the key you want to program on the Hi-Fi Personal Handset.
For example, to program the
PLAY
key:

Press the
PLAY
key.
The
LEARN
indicator will flash slowly to show that the Hi-Fi Personal Handset is
ready to receive a command from your other handset.

On the other handset press and hold down the key you want to learn.
For example, to learn the play function:
●
Press and hold down the play key.
The
LEARN
indicator will flash rapidly to show that the Hi-Fi Personal Handset is
receiving a command from your other handset.
Continue to hold down the key on your other handset until the
LEARN
indicator
responds in one of the following ways:

The key has been programmed successfully.
flashing and turns on continuously.
You can proceed to learn another key.
The
LEARN
indicator flashes
The key has not been learnt. Release and then
slowly again.
