The volume control keys normally control the amplifier volume, irrespective of
which source you have selected.
Alternatively, you can program the Hi-Fi Personal Handset so that for particular
sources the volume control keys operate the TV volume.
For example, if you normally listen to the VCR through your TV rather than
through your amplifier, you can program the source used to learn VCR commands
so that the volume keys operate the TV volume when that source is selected.
To change the volume

Press the

keys.
To mute the volume

Press the
MUTE
key.
To change the balance
●
Press the
BAL L
or
BAL R
keys.
To associate the volume control keys with a new source
●
Press the source selection key for the source you want to change.
●
Within two seconds press the
and
-
keys together.
Each time you do this the volume association of the source will be changed
between amplifier volume and TV volume.
For example, if you are using the
TAPE 2
key to select your VCR, and you want the
volume keys to control the TV volume when the VCR is selected:
