Before learning any commands you need to select the source you want to use.
You can learn source control functions using the CD , PH 1 , PH 2 , TUN , TAPE 1 ,
TAPE 2 , AUX 1 , or TV source selection keys. You can learn amplifier functions
using the AMP key.
To select a source

Choose an appropriate source selection key for the commands you are going to
learn.
For example, if you are getting ready to learn the PLAY , PAUSE , and STOP
commands from your tape recorder’s handset, an appropriate choice would be
the TAPE 1 source.
To clear previously programmed commands

Press the LEARN key.
The LEARN indicator will turn on to show that the Hi-Fi Personal Handset is
ready to be programmed.

Press and hold the source selection key for the source you want to clear.
For example, if you want to erase the TAPE 1 source:
●
Press and hold the TAPE 1 key.
The LEARN indicator will blink once to show that the Hi-Fi Personal Handset has
selected the source.
●
While still holding the source selection key, press and hold the LEARN handset
control key.
After 5 seconds the LEARN indicator will switch off to show that the commands
for the selected source have been cleared.
