A.  Laser Console Internal Modules

 

 

The  Laser  Console  effectively  transforms  the  Main  Input  voltage  supply  in  to  the 
Controlled Laser source that is used for the Treatment Delivery units on the TruScan 
532 Ophthalmic Photocoagulator. 

 

Inside  the  Console,  as  shown  in  the  below  figure,  there  are  the  major  component  
modules  that  make  up.    Together  these  modules  convert  the  Mains  voltage  into  a 
low voltage supply that is used to drive the Laser Diode that then pumps the Laser 
cavity and generates the Green Laser beam and Red Aiming beam. 
 
The Key and subassemblies modules and a basic description of them as follows:
