Settings and adjustments
The Roxx has a wide range of settings and
adjustment possibilities that can be used
to adjust the wheelchair to meet all of the
requirements of the user. Life & Mobility
recommends that you consult your dealer
with regard to the correct settings. You can
easily make adjustments yourself, without the
use of tools.
Frame
Seat width
The width of the seat frame is adjustable via the
frame and can be set to widths of 37, 42, 47,
52 and 57 cm. In addition, it is also possible to
extend the sides that are fitted with armrests by
1.5 cm on each side. When changing the frame
width, you need to install a different seat and
backrest.
Adjusting the seat width via the frame
1. Loosen the 6 socket screws (A).
2. Set the desired seat width, ensure that
the seat is widened symmetrical on both
sides.
3. Retighten the 6 socket screws (A) (with
the nut on the bottom).
Extending the sides outwards
1. Lift the operating lever (B1) and remove
the side.
or;
1. Unscrew the socket screw (B2) of the
lifting armrest a couple of turns and
remove the side.
2. Using 2 Allen keys, unscrew the book
screws (C) of the side guard.
3.
Unscrew the 2 socket screws at the
bottom of the side tube (D).
4. Turn over the plate (E).
5. Position the oval tube outwards on the
plate.
6.
Retighten the 2 socket screws at the
bottom of the tube (D).
7. Retighten the book screw (C) of the side
guard on the other side.
8. Reposition the entire side on the side
frame.
9. Repeat this on the other side, if required.
Note:
The side is locked when the
operating lever has audibly clicked into
the locked position and the side can no
longer be removed.
Fitting the side pieces
1. Insert a M6x8 socket head screw in the
threaded hole (F) and tighten firmly using
an Allen key.
2. The side piece is now fixed securely and can no
longer be folded down.
3. Repeat this process with the other side if
necessary.
Seat depth
The seat depth can be set by replacing the
4 connecting pieces in the side frames.
1. Remove the sides.
2. Remove, if necessary, the seat and the
brake.
3.
Remove the connecting pieces by
unscrewing the socket screws (A).
4. Position the desired connecting pieces
0-4-8-12 cm in the side frame.
5. Retighten the socket screws (A).
