Remove the dual-gear comp. I, a washer, dual-gear shaft and a washer in due
succession. Check them for wear. Replace the worn part.

Remove the gear indicator, and check it. Replace or repair it if necessary.

Remove the magneto wire plate from the left crankcase cover.

Remove the left crankcase cover comp., and check the gasket of cover.
Replace the gasket if necessary.
