Switching system IO
Definitions
•
Position of the toggle switch:
Top: HIGH; Bottom: LOW
•
Function indication LED:
ON: Voltage at input or output of inverter: HIGH (24 V)
OFF: Voltage at input or output of inverter: LOW (0 V)
Assembly
1.
Switch off the voltage supply of the Inverter Drives 8400.
2.
Connect the Sub-D socket on the connecting cable of the 8400
Inverter Drives to the Sub-D plug on the front of the switching sys-
tem IO.
3.
Connect the +24V and GND sockets between the two potentiome-
ters with the 24 V sockets in the front of the teachware via the
single cable with 4 mm laboratory plug connector. Set the toggle
switch between the +24 V and GND sockets to ON.
Commissioning of the switching system IO
1.
Switch all toggle switch to LOW.
Exception: Toggle switch A1U Pot. / A1U Bush.
2.
Set the potentiometer to “0”, i. e. to the left as far as it will go
.
3.
Switch on the 24 V power supply at the teachware.
4.
Check whether the green LED "24Vbox ON" light up.
5.
The inverter can now be controlled by means of the switching system IO.
