In order to avoid electric shocks, do not use the device in rooms with high humidity or near
to water or other liquids.
❐
Do not expose the device
to extreme temperatures, strong temperature fluctuations, direct
sunlight or moisture.
❐
Only ever connect the device to a properly installed socket. The socket must also be readily
accessible after connection. The mains voltage must match the technical data for the device
(see the "Technical Data" chapter). Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data
is the same as that of the device.

Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected cable. Do not allow the
cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may become caught and
pull the device down.

Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
❐
Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
Proper use

Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If the device, the cable
or the plug shows visible signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not use the device
if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water.

If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it or replace any individual parts yourself.
In the event of any damage, please contact a specialist or the customer service department.

Do not use any other accessories. Only use accessories supplied with the device by the
manufacturer.
❐
Do not use the device if highly flammable gases are present in the air.
❐
Do not place any combustible materials such as e. g. cardboard, plastic, paper or candles on
or in the device.
❐
Do not move the device during use.
❐
Switch the device off and pull the plug out of the socket
– when the device is not in use,
– if a fault occurs while the device is in operation,
– before a thunderstorm,
– before you clean the device.

When you want to remove the plug from the socket, always pull the plug and not the cable.
❐
Never immerse the insulated container in water or other liquids! Ensure that the insulated
container, the cable and the plug cannot fall into water or become wet. Should the insulated
container fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull it
out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!

Never touch the insulated container, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐
Always allow the insulated container to cool down completely before you clean it or store
it away.
