Indication For Use

The 

Star 55

 multiparameter patient monitoring system is intended to monitor a single

adult, pediatric or neonatal patient's vital signs at the bedside or during intra-hospital

transport along with the appropriate accessories mentioned / supplied with the unit.

Vital signs parameter include ECG (3/5 lead), SpO

2

, Respiration,

 Temperature ,

Capnography (CO

2

) and can be connected to an optional External Gas module unit.

It can also display the digital values of HR/PR, SpO

2

, RR, Invasive and Non-invasive

Blood Pressure (Systolic, Diastolic and Mean),

 

EtCO

2

, 

 FiCO

2

 

and temperature.

Parameters like N

2

O, O

2, 

EtAA and FiAA can be displayed when connected to the

optional External Gas module unit.

The user, responsible to interpret the monitored data made available, will be a

professional health care provider. The device permits patient monitoring with

adjustable alarm limits as well as visible and audible alarm signals. The monitor is

not intended for home use.
