This section discusses various problems that may be encountered, and
warnings or error messages that the operator may receive during general

9.1
Fault Detection
When switched on the instrument will perform a pre-determined self-test
sequence taking approximately sixty seconds. During this time, many of the
systems working parameters and settings are checked. In addition, during
normal operation, similar parameters are checked to ensure the channels are
valid.
There are two types of faults, critical and non-critical.
Non-Critical Faults

If a non-critical fault is detected after power on, a warning will be displayed in
a summary screen:
