Can LaCie photon monitors be cali-
brated in DVI or VGA mode with the
LaCie blue eye pro software?
Yes, but the calibration process will be manual. Please refer to sec-
tion
6.
for full instructions and additional information.

the Select Profile
Module.
Why don’t all of the saved ICC pro-
files appear in the dropdown menu
of the Select Profile module?
The drop-down menu displays the last 49 profiles created using
the LaCie blue eye pro. If you have created more than 49 profiles,
you will need to erase or move the older and/or unused profiles
to a folder other than the ColorSync folder (
Library > Colorsync
> Profiles
).

Can the Select Profile module be
used without the colorimeter con-
nected?
Yes, a saved profile can be loaded without having the colorimeter
connected.
Compatibility issues.
Is the LaCie blue eye pro software
compatible with Mac OS 9?
No, the LaCie blue eye pro software is only compatible with Mac
OS 10.1 and later.
Various Issues
Does the monitor need to be reca-
librated if the OSD settings were al-
tered?
No, simply select your previous profile from the Select Profile mod-
ule. Please see section
5.5. Switching Colorimetric Environments
for more information.
Can the LaCie 300/500/700 Series
Monitor be calibrated while con-
nected through an ADC port?
Yes, but you will need to use an ADC to DVI converter cable.
