Hoist Safety Prop

is standardly equipped with a hoist safety prop (see Figure
2-11). Prior to performing any work around/underneath a lifted body, you must set the hoist safety
prop. Never use the hoist safety prop to prop a loaded body. Always unload the body prior to setting
the hoist safety prop. Refer to “Stabilizing a Hoisted Body” on page 24.
