ATE PRESENT controls Record Enable and CVR
Replay Inhibit/FDR Inhibit functions. When ATE is
not detected, all recording is enabled and CVR
Replay is disabled and FDR Inhibit is inactive.
When ATE is connected, all recording is disabled
and CVR Replay is enabled and FDR Inhibit is
active. Shunt discrete input; ARINC 573 compli
ant.

AUDIO OUTPUT

Summed audio output signal from channels 1, 2,
and 3 for monitoring audio information that is be
ing stored. Single ended. 600 ohm, 10 mW, short
circuit protected; ARINC 7574. With the reference
signal applied to one channel, the output level is
2.45 Vrms ±30% into a 600 ohm load.

ERASE CVR INPUT A
IN
Bulk erase signal from the flight deck push to
erase switch. Bulk Erase initiates when
VOICE_ERASE_A is connected to
VOICE_ERASE_C for 2 seconds and interlock
circuits are closed (ARINC 7574 and ED56A).
Diode isolated series discrete input (ARINC 717).
The OFF threshold is less than 3VDC. ON
threshold is greater than 18VDC. Sink current is
860uA at 18.1VDC.
GND = NO ERASE
Vsupply (t > 2s) = ERASE
