FITS AND CLEARANCES

GENERAL
This section provides the Model FA5000 recorder’s specifications and outline and dimen-
sions. Since the recorder uses solid
−
state memory recording technology, there are no in-
ternal fits and clearances or tension values normally associated with older technology
electromechanical tape recorder units.
The information contained herein is also in the Description/Operation section of this CMM
and is presented here for the purpose of quick reference.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
The Model FA5000 meets the performance requirements of ED
−
112, chapter 2, and Part
I, while conforming to the input interface required in ARINC 757/757A.
