Floor Mounted Location of DVR
The following items are needed to facilitate the installation:
DVR
Self-tapping bracket-to-floor mounting screws
Screw gun and bit
Prior to installing the DVR and making the connections, it is important to have all of the
cables properly routed to the DVR.
To install the DVR, use the following steps:
1. Determine the mounting location for the DVR.
2. Mark the positions of the mounting holes.
3. Drill the pilot holes for the mounting screws.
CAUTION
The technician should make sure that the mounting location will
not result in other components being damaged during the
installation, such as when drilling the pilot holes.
If holes are drilled, the technician must be sure that the holes are
completely sealed prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
4. Position the DVR and install the mounting screws.
5. Connect the GPS cable to the GPS antenna connection on the back of the DVR. Snug
the connector with a 5/16” wrench.
