970 5 Band EQ
Stereo bass and treble shelving filters and 3 parametric EQs
PAUs:
3
This algorithm is a stereo 5 band equalizer with 3 bands of parametric EQ and with bass and treble tone
controls. The user has control over the gain, frequency and bandwidth of each band of parametric EQ and
control of the gain and frequencies of the bass and treble tone controls. The controls for the two stereo
channels are ganged.

In/Out
When set to “In” the tone controls are active; when set to “Out” the tone controls are
bypassed.
Bass Gain
The amount of boost or cut that the
fi
lter should apply to the low frequency signals in dB.
Every increase of 6 dB approximately doubles the amplitude of the signal. Positive values
boost the bass signal below the speci
fi
ed frequency. Negative values cut the bass signal
below the speci
fi
ed frequency.
Bass Freq
The center frequency of the bass shelving
fi
lters in intervals of one semitone.
Treb Gain
The amount of boost or cut that the
fi
lter should apply to the high frequency signals in dB.
Every increase of 6 dB approximately doubles the amplitude of the signal. Positive values
boost the treble signal above the speci
fi
ed frequency. Negative values cut the treble signal
above the speci
fi
ed frequency.
Treb Freq
The center frequency of the treble shelving
fi
lters in intervals of one semitone.
Mid
n
Gain
The amount of boost or cut that the
fi
lter should apply in dB. Every increase of 6 dB
approximately doubles the amplitude of the signal. Positive values boost the signal at the
speci
fi
ed frequency. Negative values cut the signal at the speci
fi
ed frequency.
