Emptying the water tank
The residual water which remains in the steam generator is pumped back into the
water tank after the appliance has been switched off.
– During this procedure, the clear text display will indicate that “water is being
pumped off”.
On completion of this procedure, remove the water tank and empty it..
• Dry the water tank and replace it in the appliance.
Switching on the oven lamp
The oven lamp can be switched on and off at any time.
• To switch the lamp on and off, press the
button.
– When the lamp is switched on, the indicator light will be on.
Should the oven light not be switched off, it will switch off automatically
30 minutes after the end of operation.
The water in the water tank may be hot.
FShould the display remain standing for a longer period and the residual
water in the evaporator not pump off (audibly), the cause is as follows:
For reasons of safety the residual water is only pumped off once its
temperature has fallen below 80 °C, see also page 21. The appliance can
be restarted at any time.
Subsequent to operation of the operating mode “Baking like professionals”,
the appliance has to cool down until “residual heat” in the clear text display
goes off. The operating mode “Baking like professionals” can then be
operated again. This is the only way that the steaming phase can operate
properly.
Should “automatic oven lighting” have been switched on in the settings, the
oven light will always go on when the oven door is opened. See page 18.
