(2) Piston and Connecting Rod
Piston Pin Bore
1. Measure the Piston boss I.D. in both the vertical and horizontal
direction with a cylinder gauge.
2. If the measurement exceeds the allowable limit, replace it.
Oil Clearance between Piston Pin and Small End Bushing
1. Measure the piston pin O.D. and small end bushing I.D. with a
micrometer. Then, calculate the clearance.
2. If the oil clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace them.
