Installing the Hydraulic Cylinder
(Figure 3)
Note 1:
Make sure to point the cylinder's
hydraulic ports (item 1C) to the right of the
subframe as illustrated on figure 3.
Attach, as shown on figure 3, the base section
of the cylinder (item 1A) to the cylinder support
(item 2) and the rod (item 1B) to the male hitch
(position 3A). Lock in place with the two pins
(item 4), three cotter pins (item 5) supplied with
the cylinder and the 3mm x 65mm hairpin
(item 6).
Note 2:
The fourth cotter pin supplied with the
cylinder will not be used.
IMPORTANT: When using PTO driven
attachments (snowblower and broom) you
must always use position 3A.
Position 3B is used only during transport of
the attachments in a trailer and they must
never be operated in that position.
Only the blade can be used in position 3A or
3B, the lifting height and the cutting depth
will vary depending on the position chosen.
