The Quick Hitch and the Subframe are partially assembled at the factory, however, parts contained in
the bag must be installed. Use the present manual and lay out all parts for assembly. Separate bolts
and nuts into various sizes. After assembly, torque all the bolts according to the Torque Specification
Table enclosed at the end of the manual.
Assembling the Male Quick Hitch
(Figure 1)
1.
Place the subframe components on a clean
and flat surface.
2.
Completely grease the exterior of the two
1 3/4" pivot bushings (item 1) and attach the
male quick hitch (item 2) to the subframe
(item 3) using the two 7/8" NC x 3" lg hex.
bolts (item 4), 15/16" int. flat washers
(item 5), 7/8" lockwashers (item 6) and 7/8"
NC nylon insert locknuts (item 7) (see:
IMPORTANT*
note). Make sure to insert
the 7/8" NC x 3" lg bolts (item 4) from the
outside of the subframe as illustrated on
figure 1. Tighten the bolts at 440 Lbs-Ft or
597 N-M.
IMPORTANT*
It is important to retighten the 7/8" NC X 3"
lg hex. Bolts (item 4) after the first eight
hours of use.
