Preparing the brake disc of the wrapping material brake

Remove the duct tape (1) provided as corrosion protection from the surface of the brake
disc (2) and discard.

Setting the height of the wheel hubs
The height of the wheel hubs must be set depending on tyre size or operating conditions.

With special operating conditions, i.e. when the machine should be lowered by 40 mm, the
wheel hub must be mounted in assembling position III.
Make the following settings equally on the right-hand and left-hand side of the machine:

The machine has been raised by means of car jack.

Remove the screws (3) at the flange plate (2).
Push the flange plate (2) up or down in such a way that the desired assembling position (I),
(II) or (III) can be set.
Mount the screws (3).
