A1.2.3 Adjusting the length
The length of the articulated shaft (1) must be adjusted to
the conditions. The shortest operating position is selected
for the tightest corners.
Hitch up the wagon to the tractor..
Take the shortest operating position for the articulated
shaft.

Extend the articulated shaft.
•
Push the articulated shaft (1) on to the tractor power
take-off shaft.
•
Slide on the half of the articulated shaft with the
overload safety device on the machine side.
•
Measure the overlap and adjust the length according to
the articulated shaft manufacturer’s operating
instructions supplied with the machine.
The minimum overlap must be ensured
even when the articulated shaft is bent
(hydraulic articulated tow-bar)

A1.2.4 Assembling the articulated shaft
Slide on the overload safety device (1) on the machine
side until the safety device clicks into position (see
articulated-shaft manufacturer’s operating instructions).
Hook up the safety chain.
Check the space around the articulated
shaft again in the installed position.
