Operation
3.10.6 After emptying
•
Switch off the scraper floor.
•
Close the rear flap.
To ensure that the hydraulic mechanism
locks the rear flap, the switch for the rear
flap must continue to be held in position
for approx. 1-2 seconds after closing.
For the standard hydraulic system, the
closing procedure must follow the
following sequence: Switch the electrical
switch for the rear flap to „Neutral“ and
then move the hydraulic tractor valve to
„Neutral“.
After passing over the silo,
•
lower the articulated tow-bar again.
3.11 Shutting down
No person is permitted within the
danger area.
When shutting down the short-stalk loading wagon,
proceed as follows:
•
Raise the wagon slightly using the articulated tow-bar.
•
Extend the stabilising foot (1) and secure with pins (7).
In order to make it easier to insert the
pins (7), adjust the lock nuts on the
threaded rod (8) so that the holes in the
inner and outer tubes of the stabiliser
foot (1) are exactly aligned.
•
Carefully lower the articulated tow-bar until the stabiliser
foot (1) rests on the ground.
•
Switch the hydraulic system to non-pressurised.
•
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (5) and (6) from the
tractor.
•
Disconnect the compressed air hoses (3) and (4).
Stow the disconnected hydraulic hoses
(5) and (6) in the retainer brackets on
the articulated tow-bar provided for the
purpose in order to prevent the
couplings from becoming
contaminated.
Use the caps to close the ends of the
hoses.
•
Disconnect the electrical connections.
