Operation
3.7.3 Setting the cutting length
This adjustment is carried out centrally on the left hand
side of the wagon.
Lowering the cutter unit
•
Press the cutter switch on the control box to "Lower"
(for the operator-friendly control unit: press until
"Switch cutters?" appears on the display).
•
Remove the ignition key and switch off the electrical
supply at the control box.
The cutter unit is now in the position "Cutter selection"
Setting the cutting length
•
Lower the cutter unit as described above.
•
Using the multipurpose spanner (4), switch the cutters
in or out until the desired number of cutters and
therefore the desired cutting length has been selected.
•
Hang the multipurpose spanner in the transport retainer
again.
•
Switch on the electrical system again.
•
Hold the cutter switch at Position „Lift“ until the red
indicator lamp goes out.

3.7.4 Switching cutters
Lifting the articulated tow-bar makes it
easier to work in comfort under the vehicle.
Secure the raised vehicle with the
supporting foot.
Lower the cutter unit fully
• At the same time, activate the „Switch
cutters“ switch (or Quit key, in the case of
the operator-friendly control unit) and operate
the „Lower“ switch.
• The red indicator lamp continues to light up.
The cutter unit is now in Position „Switch cutters“.
In the case of the operator-friendly control unit, „Switch
cutters“ appears on the display when the cutter unit is
lowered to its full extent.
Remove the ignition key and switch off the
electrical supply at the control box.
The safety lever (6) on each cutter safety device must be
released in order to remove the cutters (5). For this
purpose, the multipurpose spanner (4) must be used to
rotate all three selector shafts so that their cams (1), (2)
and (3) are pointing downwards.
