3.7.5 Removing the cutters

•

Remove the cutters from the upper cutter unit.

Fold up the upper cutter unit (3) to the intermediate
parking position using the multipurpose spanner (4)
until the catch (1) clicks home.

Remove the cutters from the lower cutter unit.

3.7.6 Sharpening the cutters

Check the cutters (2) for sharpness every day. When
necessary, sharpen the cutters which have been removed
by working from the back of the cutting edge (1). Only
sharpen from the side which is not fluted.

If possible, use the KRONE sharpener for
sharpening.
