- Mask off the front screen component 8.3 on both
sides as far as point 'S', inside and out. Keep to the
mask off and go to line running to the deck
superstructure.
- Paint the rear section of the front screen. Remove
the masking tape as soon as the paint is touch-dry.
- Cut out the radar bearer support 8.5.
- Trim the support 8.5 to fit and glue it in place
(superglue).
- Drill the 8 1 mm holes in the radar bearer 8.6, cut it
out, place it centrally on the support and tape it in
place. Mark the hole positions and drill them.
- Remove the radar bearer and open up the 4 outer
holes to 1.5 mm.
- Apply filler to the joint lines between the deck
superstructure and the support, and sand the
structure smooth overall.
- Glue the navigation lamp plates 8.7 to the model.
- Paint the deck superstructure and the radar bearer.
- Place the deck superstructure and the front screen
section together, align the parts carefully and apply
tape across the joints.
- Drip cyano into the gluing holes and press the parts
together. Take care that no glue runs outside the
joints.
