Configuring settling time for
KOSTAL solar inverters
For the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter to achieve a rapid
type of control with a set feed-in limitation (power limita-
tion) or zero feed-in, the settling time must be configured
in the KOSTAL solar inverters. This configuration is
undertaken as follows:

For PIKO 4.2-20 and PIKO EPC, using the PARAKO
user software

For PIKO IQ and PLENTICORE, by going to
Webserver > Service menu
1.
In the Webserver, go to “Settling time” in the Service
menu or PARAKO.
2.
Set the settling time to 1s.
3.
Under mode, select “Power gradient”.
4.
For the requirements for high and low priority, enter
the inverter’s maximum AC output.
5.
Save the settings.

The settling time has been set.

using two or more KOSTAL solar in-
verters and can only be configured by
installers using a service code.
