Error Message due to the file error or not a firmware for the switch.

Before upgrading firmware, please assure that the firmware specific is for JetNet 6910G-
M12. The switch provide protection when an incorrect firmware file is being upgraded, the
system crash would not be expected by an incorrect firmware being updated. There’s
protection to warning “not trying” to install the incorrect firmware to JetNet 6910G-M12.
Unexpected events may occur and cause damage to the system.

Type the IP address of TFTP Server and Firmware File Name. Then click on Upgrade to
start the process. After finishing transmitting the firmware, the system will copy the firmware
file and replace the firmware in the flash. The CLI show …… until the process is finished.

4.2.8

Load Default

In this section, an administrator can reset all the

configurations of the switch to default setting. Click on

Reset the system will then reset all configurations to

default setting. The system will pop up message in a

window after this command is accepted by the switch.

Default setting will work effectively after rebooting the

switch.
Click on Reset. The system will then auto reboot the

device.

Note: If the IP address of target switch has been configured, using this “Reset” command

by CLI and Web UI won’t reset the switch IP address to default IP address. The switch

system will record and remain the original configured IP address to be taken effectively

after re-boot, so that the switch on the network doesn’t have to be re-configured and re-

discovered.

4.2.9

System Reboot

System Reboot allows to reboot the switch when ‘re-boot required’ appears at some of the

features selected or changed. Click on Reboot to reboot the switch.
Caution: Remember to click on Save button to save your settings before “Reboot”

command. Otherwise, the settings made will not be saved when the switch is powered off.

Note: Since different browser may behave differently. If
the Web GUI doesn’t re-login well, please manually re-
type the IP Address and login the system again
