The system fans (2) are installed at the front side of the unit. These are attached to the
system by means of a fan slide-in module. The fan slide-in module simplifies the
installation and removal of these components, including during operation. The
washable filter mat, which protects your system against dust and dirt, is located behind
the air grills of the front access door. The outside accessible filter mat is changeable
while the KISS-Platform is powered-up. The type label is attached to the right side of
the unit.

CAUTION
When switching on the system, make sure that the air intake and
exhaust openings are not obstructed by objects.
CAUTION
For rack and desktop versions only:
Before putting the system into operation for the first time (before
mounting/installation into an industrial cabinet), you have to open
the unit as described in "Accessing Internal Components” (page39)
and remove the drive locking screws
(fig. 2, 3, 4, 5: pos.14).
