1.3 View by IE browser (version 6.0 or above)
Please note that remote view can only be work on the Internet Explorer.
Browsers such as Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox would not be able to
view the video.
In the steps 1.1 and 1.2 we have set a Standalone DVR with an example with IP
address 192.168.8.101 which is known as a private IP or Local Area Network IP.
If users are within the Local Area Network region they shall be connecting to
Standalone DVR by typing http://192.168.8.101:80 in IE browser address bar.
If users are not within the Local Area Network region they will need to type in the
Public IP (such as
http://59.120.205.176
) or DDNS hostname (such as
http://xxxx.dyndns.org
) in IE browser address bar to connect Standalone DVR.
Please note that user must first input the username and password in order to enter
the system.
