Fast network setting for Standalone DVR users

Remote view Standalone DVR videos using IE browser within Local Area Network
region or over Internet
1.1 Network connection diagram:
Chapter 1.1 gives an idea of simplify network connection architecture of a
Local Area Network IP address to the actual Public IP address (so called
Internet / WAN). The example illustrates the connection of a Router to the
ADSL Modem. The ADSL modem has an actual Public IP Address (for
example

), and all the other PC or Notebook in the
Local Area Network (LAN) are connected to the Router to share this actual
Public IP address to access to Internet.
In example, the Local Area Network IP address of the Router is 192.168.8.1
and the local IP address of the Standalone DVR is 192.168.8.101.
1.2 Network setting
Please follow the steps below to configure your Standalone DVR and router/firewall
so you may see the video with IE browser from anywhere where there is internet.
