Set group
Create groups for registering targets in advance.
Memo
No group name is set when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Operating Procedure
Start the procedure from the <Setting> - <Default data setup> screen.

Use [

] to move the cursor to “Set group”,
and then press the [Confirmation] key.
The <Edit group> screen
is displayed.
The currently selected group numbers and names will be
displayed in the upper table. The group is set by default
when the target is measured.
The cursor will appear in the lower area with group
numbers.
Configure the group name.

] to move the cursor to the group
number of the group to edit. Numbers with blank
names have not yet been set as a group. Assigning a
name will register the number as a group. Users can
also edit the names of existing groups.
Groups 01 through 50 can be set with up to 5 groups being
available for registration.

Check the box of the number to register to edit the
name.
The <Edit name> screen
is displayed.
Memo
Checking the box registers the number to the table above,
and when the target is measured, the number is
automatically assigned to the affiliated group. To delete the
information from the table, uncheck the box.

between characters, and then press the
[Confirmation] key.
• Up to 30 characters can be used.
• The selected character is displayed in the text box.
