(PU-108)
(4) Fix the PU-108+the FS-106 to the main body.
When fixing the unit, tighten the knob screw (1
pc.) and the lower screws (TP screw M4x8: 2
pcs.) in sequence.
(5) Return the paper guide of the PU-108 to its
original position (by pushing down the lever).
8. Secure the PU-108 and the Finisher (lower front
side). (TP screw M4x6: 2 pcs.)
Caution:
Be sure to secure the main body and the PU-108
+the Finisher before tightening the screws to secure
the PU-108 and Finisher to each other.
9. Install the positioning plate to the connecting part
of the PU-108 and Finisher by first engaging the
positioning nub with its corresponding indentation
then securing the plate with two screws in the
adjustor slots. (TP screw M4x6: 2 pcs.)
Caution:
Secure the PU-108+the Finisher to the main body,
then install the positioning plate.
10. Adjust the front-door assembly.
(1) While maintaining alignment of the opening at
the top of the Finisher front door and the opening
at the top of the PU-108 front-door assembly,
run in the screws. (8 screws)
(2) Loosen the screws on the actuator of the
Finisher's front door. Adjust the top and bottom
positions of the actuator, then tighten the screws
to secure it. (2 screws)
(3) Loosen the screws on the actuator of the PU-
108. Adjust the top and bottom positions of the
actuator, then tighten the screws to secure it. (2
screws)
(4) If the upper and lower magnets do not contact
the front door evenly when closed, correct by
loosening the two screws on the magnets and
adjust the positions of the magnets forward or
backward.
11. Connecting the power cord
(1) Remove one screw at the lower left corner of
the rear side of the PU-108.
(2) Connect the power cord to the power jack on
the rear side of the PU-108, then use the screw
removed in step (1) to secure the connection
with a nylon clamp.
12. Setting / Adjustment (PU-108+FS-106+7055/7065)
(1) Confirming the ROM version
Confirm that the ROM version is set to 20 or
higher for the main body and FS-106. If the ROM
version is 19 or lower, replace with ROM version
20 or higher.
