Check Coolant Level, Add Coolant

Do not open the radiator cap unless necessary. When checking the coolant, always wait for the
engine to cool down and check the sub tank.

Immediately after the engine is stopped, the coolant is at a high temperature and the radiator is under
high internal pressure. If the cap is removed to check the coolant level in this condition, there is a
hazard of burns. Wait for the temperature to go down, then turn the cap slowly to release the pressure
and remove it carefully.
1. Open the rear engine hood and check that the cooling
water level is between the FULL and LOW marks on the
sub-tank (1). If the water level is low, add water through
the water filler of sub-tank (1) to the FULL level.
2. After adding coolant, tighten the cap securely.
3. If the sub-tank (1) is empty, there is probably leakage of
coolant. After inspecting, repair any problem immediately. If
there is no problem, check the coolant level in the radiator.
If the coolant level is low, add coolant to the radiator, then
fill the sub-tank (1).
