24.5.1 CHECK OIL LEVEL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE, ADD
OIL
• The oil is at high temperature immediately after the machine
has been operated. Wait for the oil to cool down before start-
ing the operation.
• If there is still pressure remaining inside the case, the oil or
plug may fly out;
Loosen the plug slowly to release the pressure.
•
Prepare a handle.
1.
Set the TOP mark at the top, with the TOP mark and plug
P
perpen-
dicular to the ground surface.
2.
Remove plug
F
using the handle. When the oil level reaches a point
10 mm below the bottom of the plug hole, the correct amount of oil
has been added.
3.
If the oil level is to low, install plug
F
, operate the travel levers, and
drive forward or in reverse to rotate the sprocket one turn.
Then repeat Step 2 to check again.
4.
If the oil; is still low, add engine oil through the hole in plug
F
until the
oil overflows.

LUBRICANTS ACCORDING TO AMBIENT TEMPERATURE.”
5.
After checking, install plug
