1. About this document
1.1. Use of the operating and installation manual
The operating and installation manual forms an integral part of the
pump.
Please be sure to pass the manual on to the next owner of the
device.
Specifications and instructions for customer-specific project pumps
(model numbers beginning with “PL” or “PML”) may differ from
those set down in the operating and installation manual.
For project pumps, it is also necessary to observe the agreed
specifications.
1.2. Symbols and flags
Warning symbol
WARNING
Warning regarding a potential danger.
Possible consequences of failure to comply with the
warning. The word used, e.g. “warning”, indicates
the level of danger present.
Precautions required to prevent the danger and
its consequences.
