3.3.3
Assembly Process
•
The unit must be connected to the power source by a qualified electrician only while the
power supply has switched off.
•
The unit must be installed according to the steps described in these Mounting Instructions.
If the unit is damaged, the installation must be stopped.
•
Safety, reliability and performance of the unit can only be ensured when using original
parts by Gebrüder Martin.
•
If there are problems that are not addressed in these Mounting Instructions, contact the
supplier immediately to ensure your own and the customer's safety.
3.3.4
Unauthorized Modifications or Adjustments
•
For reasons of safety, unauthorized modification of the suspension arm system is
prohibited. In case of unauthorized modifications or adjustments, the manufacturer's
warranty for the suspension arm system becomes void. The manufacturer hereby excludes
all liability for damage or injuries caused by unauthorized adjustments or modifications or
as a result of the use of non-original spare parts.
•
The use of parts that were not provided by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's
representatives voids the warranty for the suspension arm system.
•
Only use original spare parts!
3.3.5
Qualified Medical Staff
Qualified medical staff include persons who:
•
have acquired their knowledge through completing professional training in the medical or
medical-technical field;
•
can judge the tasks they perform based on professional experience and instruction in
safety regulations, and can recognize potential hazards at work.
•
In states where practicing in a medical or medical-technical field is certified, to be
authorized as qualified medical staff requires an appropriate license.
