SCIBORG 825K OWNER’S GUIDE
3
SYSTEM OPERATION
To ARM your 825K system and automatically lock the doors, press the but-
ton on your pager or transmitter. If all zones were secured when you pressed
the button, the siren will then chirp
once
and your vehicle’s lights (hazard
or parking) will flash
once
. The starter kill relay will then activate, and the
Status LED will begin to flash.
Automatic Zone Bypass.
If any of the trigger zones (i.e., trunk, hood, etc.)
are unsecured when you arm the system, that zone will be bypassed and the
LCD pager will display the icon of the unsecured zone. The bypassed zone(s)
will become active again (followed by a confirmation chirp) immediately after
they are secured. Note that you will also hear 4
“error chirps”
from the siren
when arming if (a) the ignition is on and/or (b) a door is open and the door
input is programmed with the “3.0s” setting
(see page 12)
.
NOTE: When the siren goes off, the icon will blink ON/OFF on your LCD pager.
Lock & Arm
To DISARM your 825K system and automatically unlock the doors, press the
button on your pager or transmitter. The siren will then chirp twice, ve-
hicle hazard/parking lights will flash twice, and the dome light will turn on.
Trigger Memory.
If the siren went off in your absence and you later disarm
the system, you will hear 4 siren chirps instead of two—
except when the siren
was triggered by the sensor input.
The pager will also beep 4 times and icons
will reveal the zone(s) that caused the siren to trigger.
Auto Rearm.
Your system can be set to automatically re-arm itself 30 sec.
after it is disarmed. (If a door is opened during the thirty seconds, the 825K
will not auto arm.) See line 12 on page 12 for programming options.
Auto Arm.
This feature automatically arms your system when you do the fol-
lowing: (1) Turn Ignition ON, (2) Turn Ignition OFF, (3) Open a Door and then
(4) Close the Door. Upon seeing this sequence of events, the 825K will chirp
once to indicate the system will soon arm. Then, 50 seconds after the first
chirp, you will hear 1 more chirp and all zones will be secured.
Disarm & Unlock
NOTE: If you open a door before hearing the second
Auto Arm
chirp, the
system will wait until you close the door. After you close the door, the siren will
chirp, and 50 seconds later chirp again, indicating all zones are secured.
