(1) Determines how long the 825K runs the engine before shutting it down.
(2) Engine auto starts at selected temperature —
runtime determined by (1).
(3) Remote Start engine crank duration. If engine fails to start, the system
will automatically extend the preset crank duration and try again,
up to 3 more times. The 825K will stop the remote start sequence after the
4th failure.
NOTE: Set to “3.0s” if GRY/BLK wire connected to vehicle’s tachometer.

(6) Changes the tone of the siren chirp.
(7) Allows you to program the TACH input wire, which is used to detect
the engine running. The default
Noise & TACH
setting is suitable for
most vehicles. It will use the analog TACH input signal if the TACH
wire is connected, or it will sense battery voltage fluctuations if TACH
is not connected.
TACH Only
does not look at voltage fluctuations.
TACH Learn
allows you to learn your vehicle’s TACH signal if the first
two settings fail.
OIL Lamp
should be selected when connecting to the
oil sensor dash panel lamp
or to the
L-terminal alternator lamp
.
(8) Select whether or not to feed (+)12v to IG2 during remote start crank-
ing, and select
2sec
for gas vehicles or
10sec
for diesel.
(9) Choose the lock/unlock duration that is most compatible with your ve-
hicle. Note that the “
Double
” setting sends
two unlock
pulses of 0.8sec
duration each and
one lock
pulse of 3.6sec duration.
